This books will cost you Rs.699/-. One concern is the size of the book - 2000 pages. It is really heavy but does give you all that you want about ASP.NET. The code is in VB.NET in book, but you get code in C# on CD that accompanies the book.
Stephen Walther has done a wonderful job with his previous title - ASP.NET Unleashed for version 1.0. I have become a big fan of Stephen after reading his previous edition and he didn't disappoint me his new title. But this book contains a lot of new content as ASP.NET 2.0 has changed a lot from ASP.NET 1.1. Some of the new controls like GridView, DetailsView etc. are covered in detail. Other topics like master pages, themes , webparts are given due importance.
