I had been offering Java in two modules - Java SE and Java EE. But Java EE has grown so much in the recent past, it is not possible to cover all important technologies and frameworks in a single module. A single module becomes unreasonably large.
So, I have divided Java EE into two modules - Web and Enterprise.
First part, called as Java EE ( Part I) - Web applications, deals with developing web applications using Java EE. Apart from concentrating on Servlets, JSPs, JSTL and struts , it also covers AJAX and JSF. Of course it starts with JDBC then covers XML, HTML and JavaScript. A through course for any one interested in developing web applications using Java EE. It ends with a project that demonstrates how to use all web technologies.

Second part, called as Java EE (Part II) -Enterprise Applications, deals with enterprise technologies like EJB, JMS, Web Services, JPA, Hibernate and Spring.

As we all know the only thing constant in our industry is CHANGE, change in the course structure was inevitable. I feel this change gives me opportunity to dig deep into some of the advanced concepts related to Java EE. Of course, my primary aim will always be to lay good foundation regarding web and enterprise technologies. Because one must learn to walk before run.
